Private car regulation in 2008 (Fuji Subaru Line) / Mt. Fuji Kawaguchiko Trail

Entrance by private automobile is prohibited during the following dates.
Please park at Fuji Subaru Line tollgate parking lot and board a shuttle bus.

• 8/9/2008(Sat) 00:00 - 8/18/2008(Mon) 24:00
• 8/23/2008(Sat) 00:00 - 8/24/2008(Mon) 24:00

- Specially designated or permitted automobiles, motor coaches, microbuses (with more than 11 passenger seats), hired cars, taxis, bicycles and vehicles driven by or carrying a physically-challenged person (must have physical disability certificate or treatment certificate) are permitted.

About Shuttle Buses

The shuttle buses run between parking lots and the 5th station every 30 minutes between 5:30AM and 11:30PM.
During peak climbing and descending times, the number of shuttle buses may be increased to deal with higher numbers of passengers.
The duration of the trip (one-way) is about 40 minutes.
