Private car regulation in 2009 / Mt. Fuji Subashiri Trail

Entrance by private automobile is prohibited during the following dates.
Please park at Fuji Azami Line temporary parking lot and board a shuttle bus or shuttle taxi.

• 8/14/2009(Fri) 00:00 - 8/16/2009(Sun) 12:00PM

- Specially designated or permitted automobiles, motor coaches, microbuses (with more than 11 passenger seats), hired cars, taxis, bicycles and vehicles driven by or carrying a physically-challenged person (must have physical disability certificate or treatment certificate) are permitted.

About Shuttle Buses

The shuttle buses run between parking lots and the 5th station every 30/60 minutes between 6:00AM and 11:00PM.
During peak climbing and descending times, the number of shuttle buses may be increased to deal with higher numbers of passengers.
The duration of the trip (one-way) is about 30 minutes.

Fuji Azami Line temporary parking lot / 5th Station:
1,190 yen (one-way)
1,500 yen (round-trip)

Fares for a child are as follows.
600 yen (one-way)
750 yen (round-trip)

3,390 yen (Small size taxi)
3,880 yen (Mid size taxi)

- Small size taxis can carry 4 passengers.
- Mid size taxis can carry 5 passengers.
- Night-time service (between 10:00PM and 5:00AM) is subject to a 20% surcharge.
