There was the first flower I saw last year at this time.
It is the flower "FUJIAZAMI."
Although it is a flower of a thistle with a huge rose head, since it was very impressive, it has gone to meet this year also.
Then, FUJIAZAMI pickled such a brilliant flower.
FUJIAZAMI is a perennial herbaceous plant of the department of a chrysanthemum, and in a Japanese thistle, a flower with a biggest purplish red color of about 8cm is pickled, and if a stock will become big, it will be set to about 1m.

An English name is a tawny day lily.

The rainy season began also in the outskirts of Mt. Fuji today.
A rainy season is one of the weather phenomena.
It is the rainy time when it will rotate from May in July every year.
Although the rainy season has just started, it is arrival of summer when a rainy season ends.

In a fine day, it is a paraglider.

Colorful birds

The taking-off-and-landing ground of a paraglider is located on an Asagiri plateau.
An Asagiri plateau is a prairie zone which spreads at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
Many people visit this on the holiday of the fine day.
It seems that many paraglider fans gathered this morning also.
When looked up, the figure of people who fly in the sky like a bird was in sight.
An air walk and a feeling while looking at Mt. Fuji must be good.

Large clematis

Large clematis

Recently, the chilly day continues.
Although Mt. Fuji can be seen in the early morning,It is in clouds when I get up.
Having become cloudy today also, the light rain is falling occasionally.
The flower of large clematis was in bloom in such weather on husband's mother's flower garden.
The clematis of the thing with the dear sun is also the same.

milk vetch (Rengesou)

milk vetch (Rengesou)

This flower is milk vetch.
The bloom is from April to May.
This flower was used for the manure of a paddy field.
Now, in order to use many science manure, also seeing this flower decreased.
The paddy field where milk vetch blooms on the whole surface is very wonderful so that it may be a purple carpet.
It is one of the flowers which can be enjoyed at the season before preparation of rice planting starts.

Mt. Fuji and Koinobori

May 5 is Boys' Festival.
There is a custom which hoists the flag which carried out the form of the carp in
Boys' Festival.
You can also see this flag on a Asagiri plateau.
It is a flag of the carp which sails in the sky.
And Mt. Fuji can be seen behind that.
The flag of this carp can be seen from the end of April.
The flag which carried out the form of the carp is called "Koinobori".

Natura Vita (The store of the gelato in Asagiri Plateau)

"Natura Vita"

In Asagiri Plateau, there are a lot of ice cream shops that used fresh milk.
The gelato of the shop and "Natura Vita" that is especially adjacent to the "Makaino Ranch" is very delicious.
Gelato in the shop can enjoy the taste of in season that uses fresh milk, the fruit of local, and the vegetable.
This shop is an open cafe style.
Therefore, Mt. Fuji can be looked at on the day of clear weather.
In this shop, the drink (cold and hot) and snacks are prepared besides gelato.
Will you take a rest while looking at Mt. Fuji?

The waking-up season

Rhabdophis tigrinus("Yamakagashi" in Japanese)

It went for the walk together with the dog in the afternoon of fine weather in May.
The place of a walk is a prairie at the foot in Mt. Fuji.
It is a natureful of a place here.

It came out as pleased with fine weather in May.

The outskirts of Mt. Fuji are full glory in spring.
It is a season of waking in spring.

It is Golden Week holidays.

The first day of Golden Week was a pouring rain.
In this weather, special sightseeing is spoiled.
Mt. Fuji of the aim was hidden for a long time in the cloud.
The people who went on a hike also walked at a quick pace.
It is very regrettable though more wonderful scenery can be seen if it is clear
weather.
