Weather Forecast on Sidebar
The current temperature at the summit of Mount Fuji, and weather forecast for Shizuoka and Yamanashi area have been added on the sidebar.
Area Guide
We are pleased to announce that the new feature Area Guide has been added to Mount Fuji Guide.
The Area Guide is divided into 2 sections: Mount Fuji Area Guide and Mount Fuji Guide Wiki. Mount Fuji Area Guide is edited by us (4plus, Inc) to provide rather official information for tourists of Mt. Fuji area. Wiki, on the other hand, can be edited by any Mount Fuji Guide users. It's a project to create a free, useful, and up-to-date area guide collaboratively. You can start by visiting the main page.
Brand New Mount Fuji Guide
Welcome to our brand new Mount Fuji Guide!
We've added the News page where you can check the latest news about Mt. Fuji. We'll be announcing other travel news and events for tourists, too.
Another new feature called Area Guide is coming soon.
User Blog
Now you can write your own blog.
To post a blog:
1) login to Mount Fuji Guide,
2) click on the "My blog" link on the right menu,
3) click on the "Post new blog entry" link,
4) fill in a title and body,
5) click on the "Preview" button,
6) if everything is OK, click the "Submit" button.
Additional Fields for User Profile
Some extra fields were added to the user profile page.
You can edit those fields by:
1) login to Mount Fuji Guide so that your "My account" page is displayed,
2) click on the Edit tab,
3) click on the "Personal information" link, and
4) fill in the fields and click the "Submit" button.
Feature updates
A couple of simple features have been added.
1) Friend List
You can maintain your friend list as you do in Facebook or MySpace.
2) Invitation
You can send an invitation e-mail to your friend.
