Generally, it goes by a train, Bus, and car.
Although it changes also with means of transportation, it takes about 3 hours from Tokyo.

Mt. Fuji is a big mountain. It depends on which side of the mountain you intend to visit.
The Web site that pochi introduced shows the map, and transportation information for each destination around Mt. Fuji.
