I will be in Tokyo Aug 27th - Sept 3rd. I have made the mistake of planning a Fuji climb too late in the "official climbing season"... but my original plan / main reason for visiting Tokyo had me arriving Aug 27th. I have checked information about climbing Fuji-san and transportation options to and from Shinjuku... looks like there could be some difficulties! Is anyone interested in making the climb during this time-period? Would you like to share a cab, etc.???? If not, does anyone have any good suggestions. I would really like to make this climb this year... I'm leaving back to the U.S. before next year's "official climbing season"!!!
