I'm planning to climb up Mount Fuji on Satuday, the 27th of June (my last weekend in Japan) - overnight climb with no hut stop. I'm wondering if anyone would be interested to join me. I'm alone at present.

Hi Raven,
Great! As mentioned, I`m planning to do the night climb, of course if weather permits. That means we will be ascending up pm / at night on Saturday, 27/6, hopefully in time to see the sunrise, spend sometime up there and slowly descending down on Sunday morning. The huts are still not opened until July 1st. I`m gathering as much information at present and have received advice from a few people who climbed recently. I'd be very interested to meet up with you and do the climb on that date, as that will be my last weekend in Japan as well (so I can't wait for the official climbing season). I'm travelling solo as well.
I'll be arriving in Tokyo on June 19th.
