staying at the Kawaguchiko 5th station overnight?

FORUM TOPIC jhok

4 climbers arriving in the evening of August 30 (Sun) from Narita airport. Is is feasible or advisable to spend the night at the Kawaguchiko 5th station and then climb early the next morning? Is there a facility at the 5th station, which would allow us a good nights sleep after the long flight from the US?

Hi jhok,
here are the Web sites of lodging facilities at the 5th station of Kawaguchiko Trail.

Although they are all written in Japanese, maybe the pictures can be a help for making your decision.

More decent hotels with hot spa are located around Lake Kawaguchi (Kawaguchiko).
