Hello everyone,
I am returning to the Tokyo area early this September and was hoping to climb Mt Fuji before I return to America. I have attempted a climb from the bottom once but only made it to the sixth station due to foot problems. (I'll never wear those boots again!)
I'm looking for someone who can tell me if the Kawaguchiko Fujiyoshida Trail 5th Station will still have an open hut the second weekend in September. I plan to arrive there by bus the night before, spend the night in the hut and then make the climb early in the morning, with enough time to return on the evening bus.
Is this possible? Can anyone who is familiar with Fuji help?

I wasn't sure if it's OK to copy their contact info here, but I guess it's going to help their business.

It's so unfortunate that most of hotel Web sites don't have English version.
I heard some hotels/huts hire English-speaking staff during official climbing season though.
